Gerardo joined DOT in 2017 as Program Manager for Chile, supporting private sector partnerships and community relationships. Gerardo is a licensed psychologist and holds an MBA from Georgia College & State University.
For the last 12 years, Gerardo has worked with diverse populations ranging from homeless youth, migrant families, and the developmentally disabled to corporate executives, directors of charitable foundations, and politicians. He has provided extensive consultancy services in the design and implementation of management systems in the United States and in Chile.
Gerardo is committed to collaborating with the private sector and public institutions, both locally and internationally, to improve the quality of life for local citizens. He is passionate about preserving the unique local culture and environment in Chile while taking advantage of technological advancements and current, research-based best practices for community development.
