Cisco

As the founding sponsor of DOT’s TeachUp! program in the USA and China, the Cisco Foundation has proven its understanding that good ideas aren’t enough to make things happen. Achieving innovation takes leadership, investment and the passion to see it all through. Cisco has partnered with DOT in the Middle East and Africa. In 2006 DOT and the Cisco  21st Century Schools (21S) Initiative provided a leading commitment to the efforts of schools in the Gulf Coast (Mississippi and Louisiana) of the United States to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
 
In response to another natural disaster, the May 2008 earthquake in Sichuan province, China, Cisco committed $45 million to its China Relief, Rebuild and Development Program. An integral part is introducing TeachUp! and the 21S initiative to selected Sichuan schools.

Education Department of Sichuan Province

Education Department of Sichuan Province is an executive department under the People's Government of Sichuan Province. It implements state laws and policies in education, and does overall educational planning for the whole province. It administers colleges and universities, including Aba Teachers College, relocated to Pixian after its campus in WenChuan was destroyed in May 2008.

DuJiangYan

DuJiangYan is a county-level city of Chengdu, Sichuan Province in China. Historically known as Guanxian, the city was renamed in honor of the Dujiangyan Irrigation System famous for providing neighboring city Chengdu with water for  over 2000 years. The city administers its schools, including DuJiangYan Model High School, which aims to be the foremost technology high school in China.

Chengdu Neusoft Institute of Information (CNII)

Chengdu Neusoft Institute of Information(CNII) is one of the higher education institutions of information approved by Sichuan Provincial Government, one of the first demonstration professional institutes of software technology at the national level, China Torch Program Chengdu Digital Entertainment Industry (Talent Training) Park, and China Digital Media Industry (Talent Training) Park. Founded by the Neusoft Group and Yida Group, as a college of Northeastern University, the institute provides three-year diploma program, two-year top-up and four-year degree program of Northeastern Univerisity. Besides, the institute provides training programs and online education service for enterprises, government and individuals. Now, enrollment of full-time students in Chengdu Neusoft Institute of Information has reached about 6000.

DuJiangYan Model High School

DuJiangYan Model High School , located in the city of Dujiangyan was founded in March of 1928 ,known as Guanxian Junior High School. In recent years, the school has already spent over 8 million RMB on the new school yard and educational facilities. And after the earthquake, the government spent 100 million RMB to move the whole school to new location which is more safe. In the school , there are 197 professional teachers and over 3500 students.

ABa Teachers' College 

Aba Teachers' College is the only higher education institution in Aba, and was founded by government in 1938 as Maoxian Simple Country Teacher School, and reformed in 1978 as Aba Teachers' College. Now the school has 311 teachers and over 4155 students. After the earhquake in Sichuan 12/5/2008, the university campus was totally destroyed, so the school temporarily moved to Pixian for the next few years.
