Patience is a Virtue
The other day, I went to Office 1 and just then a veteran female teacher came up to me in a hurry, saying “come on, boy, help me please”. We sat down near her office desk and she asked me how to download the materials from QQ (chatting software in China). I turned on her computer and slowly demonstrated the procedures clearly for her; open QQ—put in Account Number and QQ name—double click on icon for chatting—click on icon for shared resources—click on a piece of document and then on “download”. After a little while, the document was downloaded at her desktop and she was so excited as if she had gotten some treasure and then she double clicked on it under my guidance. She obtained what she originally wanted. At that time, another problem emerged: she couldn’t memorize the procedures of downloading and luckily another idea occurred to me that I could write down the steps for downloading materials from QQ in a word document, with which she might practice downloading until she could keep it in her heart.
A few days later, I took my thumb-drive and went to the teacher. I told her the document had already been done and then copied it onto her computer. She gladly opened the document and succeeded in operating on her own following the steps in the document. I was joyful because she made it and my efforts led to satisfactory result. Patience is a virtue.
